We are looking for a Mid-Level YouTube Strategist to join our client, a high-end personal-branding agency that partners with founders, entrepreneurs, senior leaders and high-profile individuals to build powerful personal brands, businesses and digital platforms.
As the Mid-Level YouTube Strategist, you will take ownership of YouTube strategy for a portfolio of premium clients. This is a role for someone who understands that YouTube is much more than simply uploading videos. You’ll be responsible for developing the strategy behind the channel, understanding the client, their audience, personal brand and wider business objectives to create content that drives visibility, engagement and long-term growth.
You’ll work closely with creative, production and client teams, helping shape everything from content strategy and formats through to titles, thumbnails, audience development and performance analysis.
The client base will include founders and business leaders, so the ability to translate complex ideas, expertise and business stories into compelling, accessible content will be particularly important. There will also be an element of working from a corporate and leadership-focused perspective, ensuring personal brand content aligns with wider business and commercial objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Developing and delivering YouTube strategies for high-profile founders, entrepreneurs, senior leaders and personal brands
- Creating channel strategies that align YouTube activity with wider personal, corporate and business objectives
- Identifying content opportunities, trends, formats and audience insights
- Developing content pillars, series and repeatable formats that drive channel growth
- Helping founders and senior leaders turn their expertise, opinions and stories into compelling YouTube content
- Working closely with creative and production teams to turn strategy into high-quality content
- Supporting the development of video concepts, hooks, titles, thumbnails and CTAs
- Using YouTube Analytics and wider data to understand performance and continuously optimise content
- Monitoring competitors, creators and emerging YouTube trends
- Presenting strategic recommendations and performance insights to clients
- Building trusted relationships with founders, senior stakeholders and high-profile individuals
- Ensuring YouTube strategy complements wider social media, marketing and corporate communications activity
- Supporting shoots where required and being comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
About You:
We’re looking for someone who has hands-on YouTube strategy experience and understands what makes content perform.
You’ll ideally have:
- 3+ years’ experience within YouTube, content strategy, social media or digital marketing
- Proven experience developing YouTube strategies and growing channels
- Strong understanding of YouTube Analytics, audience behaviour and performance metrics
- Experience developing content pillars, formats and creative concepts
- A strong understanding of YouTube SEO, titles, thumbnails, retention and watch time
- Confidence working with founders, senior leaders or senior clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with premium, corporate, personal or founder-led brands would be highly advantageous
- A strong commercial understanding of how content supports wider business and brand objectives
- The ability to balance creative thinking with data and strategy
- Excellent attention to detail and a genuinely high standard of work
