Warehouse Team Manager

We’re looking for a Warehouse Team Manager to join Paragon’s Sheffield site.

Reporting to the Head of Warehousing & Fulfilment, you’ll run a highly efficient, agile warehouse department, ensuring optimum performance and supporting your team through coaching and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, etc.).
  • Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, on-time shipping, inventory variance, and productivity.
  • Plan and allocate workforce efficiently across the warehouse teams.
  • Review SOPs, workflows, and operational practices to drive productivity and continuous improvement.
  • Take responsibility for team management, training, and welfare.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and safe-working practices.
  • Support HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and training.
  • Advocate warehouse best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Previous experience leading a warehouse team.
  • Excellent time management, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and warehouse management systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Good understanding of warehouse metrics, including OTIF requirements.
  • Knowledge of print industry practices is desirable.
  • Forklift licence desirable.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
