We are looking for a Trainee Customer Solutions Developer to join Paragon’s Peterborough site.
As the Trainee Developer, you’ll join the Document Composition team, helping to design, build, and maintain transactional applications that make a real impact.
You’ll play a key role in transforming client data into powerful communications while developing your technical skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Learning to design and code applications using Quadient Inspire software in a Windows-based environment.
- Working closely with experienced developers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects on time.
- Collaborating with Client Services and Project Management teams to understand and interpret client requirements.
- Analysing client data and business logic to create accurate, reliable solutions.
- Building, testing, and documenting applications to ensure quality and compliance.
- Providing proofs for testing, audit, and sign-off.
- Integrating applications into automated environments and supporting live systems.
- Troubleshooting, fixing issues, and maintaining existing solutions.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong analytical and data-handling skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work independently when needed.
- Clear and confident communication skills with colleagues and clients alike.
- A commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Some experience with JavaScript or similar technologies would be beneficial — but enthusiasm, curiosity, and a willingness to learn are even more important.
This is a full-time site-based role in Peterborough.
