Strategic Bid Manager

We are looking for a Strategic Bid Manager to join Paragon and lead the approach to winning high-value opportunities.

As the Strategic Bid Manager, you’ll own the end-to-end bid and capture process, developing strategies and proposals that combine commercial insight, creative thinking and compelling storytelling. Working closely with senior leaders across client services, strategy, creative, commercial and operational teams, you’ll lead complex international opportunities while driving best practice and continuously improving the quality and impact of Paragon’s submissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end bid and proposal process, from opportunity assessment through to submission and review.
  • Develop winning bid strategies, value propositions and compelling client narratives.
  • Lead bid/no-bid decisions, ensuring opportunities align with business objectives and resources.
  • Manage complex, multi-disciplinary bids across strategy, creative, technology, production and commercial teams.
  • Create and oversee high-quality proposals, executive summaries, case studies and supporting content.
  • Work with commercial teams on pricing strategies, deal structures, risks and contractual considerations.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, compliance and creativity across all submissions.
  • Develop bid processes, templates and content libraries to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Track bid performance, capture insights and support continuous improvement.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience leading strategic, high-value bids and proposals, ideally within a creative, marketing, brand or communications environment.
  • A successful track record of winning complex, large-scale opportunities.
  • Strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent written communication, storytelling and proposal development skills.
  • Experience managing end-to-end bid processes, content libraries and proposal assets.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including pricing models, negotiations and risk management.
  • Understanding of brand strategy, creative development, digital marketing and integrated communications.
  • Experience working with public-sector procurement frameworks and/or global organisations would be beneficial.
  • APMP or Shipley training would be advantageous.

This is a remote role with a global remit. However, you’ll need to be based in the UK and available to attend Paragon sites when required to support bid submissions.

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000

Contract: Permanent
