Strategic Bid Manager

We are looking for a Strategic Bid Manager to join Paragon and play a key role in shaping and winning high-value, complex opportunities across the business.

As the Strategic Bid Manager, this is a senior, global-facing role where you’ll lead the end-to-end bid process for large-scale and strategically important pursuits. You’ll define win strategies, shape compelling proposals, and work closely with senior stakeholders across strategy, commercial, creative, and operational teams.

This role is both strategic and hands-on, allowing you to influence at the highest level while directly contributing to major submissions that drive business growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage high-value, complex bids from initial qualification through to submission.
  • Develop clear win strategies and compelling value propositions.
  • Shape high-quality, client-focused proposals, including executive summaries and key messaging.
  • Lead cross-functional bid teams, ensuring collaboration and alignment across multiple stakeholders.
  • Support bid / no-bid decisions based on strategic fit and commercial viability.
  • Work closely with commercial teams on pricing, deal structures, and risk management.
  • Ensure all submissions meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and creativity.
  • Track bid performance, contributing to continuous improvement and best practice.

Required experience & skills:

  • Proven experience leading high-value, complex bids and proposals.
  • Strong track record of securing large-scale opportunities.
  • Experience working within a marketing, creative, brand, or communications environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior level.
  • Excellent writing, storytelling, and proposal development skills.
  • Commercial awareness, including pricing and contract considerations.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
