We are looking for a Strategic Bid Manager to join Paragon and support their Global remit.
As the Strategic Bid Manager, you will sit at the heart of Paragon’s growth agenda to set the vision for how they will pursue, shape, and win high-value opportunities. You will be leading world-class proposals that combine strategic clarity, creative excellence, and commercial rigour.
You will own the end-to-end bid process, leading high-value pursuits and ensuring every submission is strategically strong, commercially sound, and positioned to win.
This is a global-facing role. While you will support growth across the UK region, your focus will be on large-scale, international and strategically important opportunities. Working closely with senior leadership, strategy, client services, and commercial teams, you will play a key role in securing the partnerships that drive Paragon’s future growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy and delivery of complex, high-value bids and proposals
- Shape compelling win strategies, value propositions, and proposal narratives
- Manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring submissions are high quality, compliant, and delivered on time
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across strategy, commercial, creative, and delivery teams
- Develop pricing strategies and support commercial negotiations for major opportunities
- Maintain and improve bid processes, tools, and content libraries to support future opportunities
- Track bid performance, lead debriefs, and drive continuous improvement across the bid function
Required Experience & Skills
- Significant experience leading complex, high-value bids and proposals
- A strong track record of winning strategic opportunities
- Experience working within a marketing, creative, brand, or communications agency environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
- Excellent proposal writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Commercial awareness, including experience contributing to pricing and deal structures
- Experience working with structured bid methodologies such as APMP or Shipley is beneficial
