A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Senior Mailroom / Fulfilment Operative to work in Paragon’s Sheffield Distribution Centre.
As the Senior Fulfilment Operative, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the order fulfilment process to ensure that letters are transferred, processed, and mailed in an accurate and efficient manner in line with client SLAs.
This role involves supervising a team of Fulfilment Operatives, contributing to processing improvement, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer confidentiality in line with GDPR regulations.
Hours: Shifts between 8am – 4:30pm or 8:30am – 5:00pm
Main Duties:
- Support the management of the day-to-day operations and ensure all letters are mailed and completed in line with agreed SLA’s
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all administrative and reporting procedures and routines and that paperwork is forwarded to the relevant parties
- Always maintain GDPR compliance throughout the department and ensure all staff adhere to the regulations.
- Manage and report stock levels and managing replenishments to ensure efficient stock
- Ensure that the quality of service within the team is maintained at the highest possible standards
- Conduct regular audits and work closely with manager to identify recurring problems and agree, initiate and monitor relevant corrective action.
- Support with the supervision, training, and welfare of the team, esculating any concerns or issues with the Fulfilment Manager
- Review documentation (SOP’s) and working practices with a view to improving operational efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity
- To be aware of and always observe safe-working practices, ensuring others within the designated areas do likewise and to report any breaches immediately
Required Skills:
- Previous experience within a Mailroom / Fulfilment or similar fast-paced envrionment is desired
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Computer literate with proficient use of information technology such as Microsoft, Excel, Explorer, and office products
- Problem solving skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm
- Have excellent attention to detail, being thorough and analytical
- Physically able to be on your feet for long periods of time
