We are looking for a Relationship Manager with English, Spanish, and Portuguese to join our client, a prestigious independent bank headquartered in Europe and renowned for its bespoke wealth management solutions.
Our client has a heritage spanning several decades that combines an international network with a commitment to tailored client service and principled advisory.
About the Role
As the Relationship Manager in this pure “farmer” role, you’ll devote yourself to strengthening and expanding relationships within an existing private-banking portfolio. There are no acquisition targets – instead, your success is measured by client satisfaction, retention, and wallet share growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and enrich relationships with an assigned set of high-net-worth clients, ensuring both client and bank objectives are met.
- Provide expert guidance on portfolio structuring, investment selection, and estate planning; keeping clients informed of market developments.
- Act as the day-to-day liaison, guaranteeing prompt, personalised service and proactive outreach.
- Maintain rigorous compliance with all regulatory standards and internal guidelines.
- Ensure client files, contracts and records remain accurate and up to date.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3 or higher) in Finance, Economics or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a private banking or wealth-management relationship capacity.
- Proficient with MS Office and familiar with CRM workflows.
- Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese (written and spoken).
Core Competencies
- Excellent under-pressure performance and deadline management.
- Proactive, precise, with an eye for detail and a continuous-learning attitude.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organised, flexible, and a genuine team player.
What’s On Offer
- Competitive salary, plus a discretionary bonus.
- Meal vouchers, comprehensive health and life insurance, and supplemental retirement benefits.
- Holiday entitlement in line with the banking convention.
- Flexible hybrid/home-working policy.
