Quality Oversight Manager

We are looking for a Quality Oversight Manager to join Paragon's Sunderland site.

As the Quality Oversight Manager, you will join our Risk and Compliance team, where you will need to be an engaging and self-motivated individual to as this is a vital role within the organisation, responsible for supporting a broad range of disciplines including: quality oversight, risk management, incident and issue management, compliance, assurance, operational control, analysis, results and output.

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm (flexible) 37.5 hours per week

Main Responsibilities:

  • Quality Oversight & Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain quality oversight plans, tools, and templates tailored to client and regulatory expectations.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO standards, GDPR, and internal Management systems and frameworks.
  • Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and root cause analysis to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Monitor and report on quality/compliance trends, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Governance & Risk Management:
  • Collaborate with the Head of Risk and Compliance to align quality oversight with the enterprise risk management framework.
  • Support the GRC Manager in the development and maintenance of Risk Registers.
  • Support with the response to audit findings and non-conformance investigations to ensure corrective actions (CAPAs) are implemented and tracked.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal teams (Corporate GRC, Operations, IT, HR, Technical) and external clients to ensure quality expectations are met.
  • Represent the organisation during client audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for senior leadership and clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality activities, audit outcomes, and compliance metrics.

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience of working within an FCA-regulated role would be advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience with Power BI is preferable
  • RCSA knowledge & understanding of IMS systems
  • Good organisational skills/ability to multi-task and ensure prompt closure on client enquiries
  • Self-motivated, self-sufficient, and proactive
  • Incident Management experience

Desirable experience:

  • Risk Management or Corporate Governance qualification
  • Knowledge of key standards; ISO27001, ISO9001, ISO22301
  • Efficiency improvements – lean continuous improvement
