Our client, a leading investment bank based in the city is looking for a Print Operator to join them on an ongoing temporary basis to work on the graveyard shift.
As the Print Operator, you will be working on the Midnight to 8am shift, where you will be responsible for delivering all submitted requests to a high standard.
Main Duties:
- Operate reprographics equipment: Xerox or similar printers/scanners, GBC closers and punchers, Renz binding equipment, laminator, and guillotine.
- Print and bind printed materials to meet the relevant Service Level Agreement(s).
- Organise local, national, and international couriers.
- Quality checks all printed materials to ensure adherence to requested specifications.
- Operate a “Fiery” software to manipulate file properties.
- Scan saved documents into relevant software.
- Take print instructions and convert them to finished products.
- Monitoring/ Replenishing consumables for printers, and calibrating machines.
- Reporting issues as per procedure and escalating to Team Leader.
- Carry out administrative tasks as necessary.
Required experience and skills:
- 3+ years Reprographics experience.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office suite or equivalent applications
- Speed and accuracy in working with Excel reports, analytical ability would be a plus
- Organised, i.e. able to prioritise and multi-task
- Good verbal and written communication skills
This is an ongoing temporary role, working Wednesday – Sunday on the Midnight to 8am shift, you must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
Salary: Weekday shift: £20.00 per hour / Weekend shift: £21.00 per hour.
