We are looking for Print Lead Operator to join our client based in Wymondham, Norfolk on a permanent basis.
As the Print Lead Operator, you will be working on a site that specialises in the production of outbound and inbound document services. The site contains printing, mailing and warehousing capability for outbound mail and postal and electronic receipt, capture, validation, and document storage for inbound mail. Purpose of the role
As the Print Lead Operator, you will be responsible for working the day-to-day operator duties and supporting Senior Operator duties consisting of Health and Safety, SLA delivery, managing daily peak workloads and additional key responsibilities. This also includes setting a positive tone and generating an open and trusting work environment.
In the event of the Senior Operator’s absence, you will be expected to take the lead on Health and Safety, SLA Delivery and planning activities including full supervision during weekend work.
Main responsibilities:
- Adhere to defined quality standards and processes in all activities, ensuring best practice is adopted
- Demonstrate ability to effectively coach the team
- Monitor team throughput and organise staff as necessary to achieve team SLAs
- Monitor Operators quality and throughput targets are achieved
- Demonstrate drive and support for continuous improvement activity
- Provide support in identifying process weakness through continuous improvement methodologies
Required experience:
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
- A reasonable level of competence in the use of a PC and Microsoft applications
- DMAIC Certification is desirable
- Experience within Print is essential
Shift Pattern:
Week 1 – Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, contracted hours, working 7.00am to 7.00pm, working 11 hours per shift.
Week 2 – Monday and Tuesday, working 7.00am to 7.00pm, working 11 hours per shift.
Total = 80.5 = Average = 40.25 per week
