We are looking for an experienced Print Finisher to join Paragon’s busy production environment, based in Dagenham.
As the Print Finisher, you will be responsible for operating a wide range of finishing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work to tight deadlines, and hands-on technical knowledge of finishing processes.
Shift Pattern: 3-on, 2-off / 2-on, 3-off / 2-on, 2-off / 3-on, 3-off (06:00 – 18:00)
Hours: 42 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of finishing machinery, including:

- Cutting & Trimming – Guillotines (Polar, Wohlenberg, or equivalent).
- Folding – Stahlfolders, MBO or similar.
- Binding – Perfect binding, PUR binding, Saddle-stitching
- Laminating & Coating – Encapsulation and digital lamination machines.
- Die-cutting, Creasing & Perforating – Cylinders or platen machines.
- Check work against job specifications and conduct quality checks throughout the finishing process.
- Ensure jobs are completed on time, in full, and ready for dispatch.
- Assist with machine set-up, calibration, and routine maintenance.
- Minimise waste by ensuring efficient use of materials and accurate setup.
- Follow production schedules and prioritise workloads effectively.
- Adhere to all health and safety standards, keeping the workspace safe and organised.
- Support colleagues across the department with cross-training and flexible working as required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Print Finisher in a high-volume print production environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of finishing processes and machinery.
- Strong eye for detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues.
- Organised and able to manage workloads under pressure.
- Flexible and team-oriented approach.

Salary: Up to £33,000, dependant on experience
