We are looking for a Planning and Scheduling Analyst to join our client based in Wymondham.
You will be working on a site that specialises in the production of outbound and inbound document services. The site contains printing, mailing and warehousing capability for outbound mail and postal and electronic receipt, capture, validation, and document storage for inbound mail.
The Planning and Scheduling team is responsible for the Outbound production planning and scheduling.
Within this role, you will be expected to work under the direction of the Planning and Scheduling Lead (PSL) to analyse data and understand client requirements and historical trends. You will use the knowledge you have obtained to support the creation of client forecasts or plans for the production floor and site management.
Main duties:
- Support the creation of outbound production capacity and workload plans
- Work with the PSL and factory to understand resource levels and use data to feed into capacity plans.
- Build a good knowledge of site work profile and support the production of client forecasts.
- Building a good knowledge of production machinery capability to support your plans.
- Create and maintain a relationship with wider AV teams.
- Create and maintain a relationship with 3rd Party Suppliers (UKM, Royal Mail, Whistl etc) to support the accurate forecasting of volumes.
- Understand and feed into site training plans, when required.
- Participate in site BCP plans, when required.
Required experience/skills:
- Good MS Excel knowledge
- Communication with stakeholders at different levels
- Data analysis experience, preferred
- Planning experience, preferred
This is a full-time site-based role, working Mon – Fri, 9am to 5.30pm – please only apply if you are happy with this and located close to Wymondham, with the right to work in the UK as there is no sponsorship on offer.
