Our client, a leading customer communications company based in Wymondham, Norfolk is looking for an Office Manager to join their team.
As the Office Manager, you will lead a team of change coordinators, managing the team’s workload and overseeing staff-related activities. You will be the primary point of escalation for your team and other business areas and clients, and develop a strong understanding of the team’s processes and the overall production process.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of up to 7 Coordinators
- Balancing workloads within the teams in order to meet internal and external agreed SLAs
- Conducting 1:2:1 meetings and performance reviews with individual team members
- Manage sickness and absence records in adherence to company policies
- Ensure all clients change and BAU activity is met within SLA
- First escalation point of day-to-day contact for clients, (internal and external) on issues
- Setting of team standards and overall responsibility for adherence to these standards
- Building and maintaining a good knowledge of the team processes and the overall production process
- Identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities
- Provide input and minor support to Planning and Scheduling, when required
- Issue management and escalation as appropriate
- Take ownership of the change/SPIN database and associated processes, measuring performance and efficiency
- Supporting daily production meetings when required
- Measure own team’s performance and accuracy levels, in line with KPIs and efficiency
Required skills and experience:
- 3-5 years of Team Management experience within an office setting
- Experience dealing with HR matters, escalation, improvements etc
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
- IT Literate & competent in the use of MS Excel
Please note: To be considered for this role, you must have team management experience within an office environment. This is not a Technical/IT/Project Manager role.
