We are looking for a Day shift and Night shift No2 Print Operator to join our client, a leading business communications company based in Dagenham.
As the Print Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of printing machinery and delivering high-quality print products.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Heidelberg SpeedMaster 102 and XL 106 machines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless workflow and production.
- Utilise CUT STAR equipment, with training provided if necessary.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
Required Skills:
- Proven industry experience in operating Heidelberg SpeedMaster 102 and XL 106.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with CUT STAR equipment is preferable, though training can be provided.
DAY ROLE:
Working on the day shift 6 am to 6 pm – Monday, Friday and Saturday (36 hours per week)
EVENING ROLE:
Working on the night shift (6 pm to 6 am) on what we call the ‘Firemans shift’, which rotates each week (36 hours per week):
Week 1 – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
Week 2 – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
Week 3 – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.
Week 4 – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.
