We are looking for a Managed File Transfer Team Lead to join our parent company Paragon - a global omni-channel communications business.
As the Managed File Transfer Team Lead, you will support the central managed File Transfer Platform, assess the performance and cost of the function, look at continuous improvement processes, deliver and support client and internal deployments as well as manage a team of 7.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create effective documentation to facilitate support of these services.
- Adhere to defined procedures for recording time spent on tasks and those linked to the the Quality Policy.
- Maintain expected SLA’s for incident / problem identification and rectification.
- Identify and facilitate opportunities for continuous improvement.
- File transfer capacity planning, performance and tuning.
- Support on Unix, Linux and Windows environments.
- Management & Support of the following protocols: Connect Direct, Connect Direct Secure plus, sFTP, ftp, FTPs, MQ, MQFTE, SP4, http and https.
- Monitoring of file transfer management tools.
- Manage and drive the ongoing migration of legacy services to the central strategic platform.
Required experience & skills:
- 3+ years in a similar technical role.
- Previous people management experience.
- Able to demonstrate diverse IT experience.
- Able to investigate and determine root cause of issues.
- IBM Websphere MQ, MQFTE and AMS installation and configuration.
- IBM Websphere Connect Direct and secure plus installation and configuration.
This is a permanent position, you can operate remotely or align to one of our UK locations. There is an on-call rota which would operate a 1 in 4 rota with an on-call allowance applied.
