Our client, a leading customer communications company based in Wymondham, is looking for a Maintenance Engineer (Enclosing) to join them on a permanent basis.
As the Maintenance Engineer, you will be working 37.5 hours per week on a monthly rotational shift pattern of Two weeks of early shifts: 7am to 3pm, one week of evening shifts: 3pm to 11pm, and one week of night shifts: 11pm to 7am.
Your main responsibilities will be to provide comprehensive support for Preventative, Corrective, and Reactive maintenance to the operations team, ensuring smooth management of our auto-fulfilment site assets. The position also involves ensuring that the manufacturing assets operate with optimal efficiency and reliability. An important part of your role will be to promote continuous improvement, aiming to minimize operational downtime and maximise efficiencies.
You should thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced learning environment and have extensive knowledge of Bluecrest enclosing machines, which are a key element of the operations.
Main Duties:
- Work to a defined standard operating procedures in line with the business methodology
- Monitor shift throughput, downtime and efficiencies
- Identify and eliminate breakdown time proactively by using continuous improvement methodologies
- Maintenance of a safe and environmentally aware working environment which is fully compliant with all Health, Safety and Environmental obligations.
- Lead the drive for continuous improvement in operational efficiency and service execution
- Learn from existing engineers
Skills/Experience:
