We’re looking for a Key Account Director to join Paragon’s Sheffield office.
As the Key Account Director, you will take full commercial ownership of one or more strategic Key Accounts, protecting and growing revenue while building long-term, senior-level client partnerships. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll ensure Paragon consistently delivers against financial, service, and strategic objectives.
This is a highly visible role, focused on developing multi-level customer relationships, securing and managing key contracts, identifying opportunities for innovation and cross-selling, and leading strong governance frameworks to support sustainable, profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Protect and develop Key Accounts to achieve and exceed revenue and profitability targets
- Safeguard revenue and drive growth through contract negotiation and renewal
- Build strong, long-term relationships across all customer levels and departments
- Establish governance models that maximise customer engagement and service performance
- Take commercial responsibility for optimal cost models and profitability
- Identify and deliver cross-selling opportunities across Paragon’s full service portfolio
- Manage risk, working capital, and contractual compliance
- Lead structured client reviews and act as senior escalation point
- Provide internal and client-facing KPI reporting against agreed targets
- Oversee non-BAU projects, including new product and service developments
- Maintain accurate CRM records, account plans, and development strategies
- Deliver presentations, training, and demonstrations where required
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to drive service excellence and innovation
Required Skills and Experience:
- You will be a commercially driven, credible senior account leader with a proven track record of managing and growing complex Key Accounts.
- Demonstrable experience in strategic account management or key account leadership
- Excellent communication and influencing skills at all organisational levels
- A results-driven, resilient, and tenacious approach
- High attention to detail with strong commercial awareness
- The ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- A collaborative mindset and a proactive, self-starting attitude
- Flexibility to travel, with occasional early starts or late finishes
- A passion for building partnerships, solving problems, and driving innovation
