Key Account Director

We’re looking for a Key Account Director to join Paragon’s Sheffield office.

As the Key Account Director, you’ll report to the Sales & Commercial Director and take ownership of protecting and growing revenue across your accounts. You’ll build strong, long-term relationships at all levels, identify new opportunities, and ensure service excellence. This role is critical to safeguarding contracts, maximising profitability, and driving innovation across Paragon’s service portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Protect and grow revenue across Key Accounts, preventing leakage and maximising profitability.
  • Secure contracts and safeguard long-term client relationships across multiple departments and seniority levels.
  • Establish governance models and maximise client-facing time.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell Paragon Group’s services.
  • Maintain working capital by managing stock risks and ensuring timely cash collection.
  • Take commercial responsibility for cost models, contracts, and brand compliance.
  • Attend client meetings, including structured formal reviews, and share key updates with colleagues.
  • Define service processes with internal teams to ensure service excellence.
  • Produce monthly KPI reports for both internal and client review.
  • Lead on new product briefings and manage or oversee non-BAU project work.
  • Act as senior escalation point for major account issues.
  • Deliver presentations, demonstrations, and training to clients and colleagues.
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM records and account development plans.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of your clients, industry sectors, and Paragon’s full service offering.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in a senior client-facing role managing large or complex accounts.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive revenue growth.
  • Skilled at building trust and relationships at all organisational levels.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
  • Confident working independently and collaboratively.
  • Highly organised with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and other business tools.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week between 8:30am and 5:00pm. Flexibility is required to meet business needs.

Hybrid working: 3 days in the Sheffield office, 2 days from home.
