Devonshire is working with a small private equity firm based in Northampton that is looking to hire a Head of Marketing/Marketing Lead to support their next phase of growth.
As the Head of Marketing, you will have considerable experience within the private equity/financial services world where you have created work-winning strategies to increase brand awareness and positioning.
This role is onsite in Northampton area as you will be working in close collaboration with the executive board to deliver ambitious growth plans. You will be supported by a small team of marketeers and designers for delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a detailed marketing strategy with the help of the support team.
- Listen, research and then provide strategic insights and recommendations to the executive team based on your knowledge of the financial marketing sector and competitor analysis.
- Drive marketing plans across all touchpoints – events, PR, digital etc.
- Mentor and develop a small team of marketeers and the design function.
- Create a culture of quality, ambition and clear objectives.
Required skills and experience:
- Extensive Marketing Strategy experience from working in a financial services firm.
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent knowledge of ‘what works’ when it comes to marketing tech, including CRMs, analytics and platforms.
- Confidence in making bold decisions using a data-driven approach.
