We are looking for a Finishing & Promotions Operator to join our client, a leading business communications company based in Nottingham.
As the multi-skilled Operator, you will be responsible for managing the operation of machines in the Finishing & Promotions area, maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety at all times.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensuring the correct job is on the machine, including code/version verification.
- Obtaining an “OK to Proceed” from the Cell Leader or Finishing BUC once make-ready is completed.
- Monitoring and maintaining the quality of work produced.
- Making adjustments to maintain quality and output.
Required Skills:
- You must be able to operate several machines including guillotines, folders, stitchers plus more
- Have a relevant degree or City and Guilds qualification
- proven industry experience in a similar role.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with Health and Safety requirements
Hours: You will be working 37.5 hrs per week on a 3-shift rotation each week
Week 1: Early morning- 06:00 to 13:30
Week 3: Afternoon- 13:30 to 21:00
Week 3 Nights 21:00 – 06:00
