Balance Sheet Ownership

  • Lead balance sheet reconciliations across key accounts (accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, provisions)
  • Review journals, schedules, and supporting documentation
  • Investigate and resolve reconciling items, driving aged balances to zero

Month-End Close & Reporting

  • Own assigned close activities, delivering to tight deadlines
  • Partner with AP, AR, Revenue, FP&A, and Tax to ensure a smooth close
  • Prepare audit-ready documentation and contribute to balance sheet reviews

Controls, Compliance & Audit

  • Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with IFRS and internal policies
  • Support internal and external audit requests with confidence and clarity
  • Proactively identify risks, issues, or control gaps and escalate where needed

  • Maintain accurate GL master data
  • Drive improvements in reconciliations, allocations, and automation
  • Support ERP enhancements or upgrade testing

  • Allocate work effectively, manage deadlines, and support performance conversations

  • 5+ years’ experience across financial accounting and month-end close
  • Experience leading or mentoring finance professionals
