We’re looking for a Digital Print Operator to join Paragon’s busy production team at their Dagenham site.
As the Digital Print Operator, you’ll set up, run, and maintain digital print presses to produce high-quality work in line with customer specifications. This is a hands-on production role where attention to detail, technical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are key to success.
Hours: Shift rotation pattern:
- 3-on, 1-off / 3-on, 7-off (06:00 – 18:00), then
- 3-on, 1-off / 3-on, 7-off (18:00 – 06:00)

Main Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor digital presses (Xerox, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, HP Indigo or equivalent).
- Manage print queues and job tickets to meet tight deadlines and prioritise workloads.
- Adjust print settings such as colour, resolution, and paper stock for best results.
- Carry out proofing and quality checks before and during runs.
- Perform daily and weekly machine maintenance to ensure optimum performance.
- Identify and resolve issues such as jams, misfeeds, and colour calibration errors.
- Escalate technical faults to engineers or management when necessary.
- Ensure all work is produced to specification, on time, and to agreed quality standards.
- Maintain accurate production records, including machine usage and wastage.
- Collaborate with colleagues in finishing, planning, and dispatching to ensure smooth workflow.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, keeping the print area clean and organised.
- Support training and cross-skilling within the department.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Digital Print Operator in a production environment (preferred).
- Knowledge of digital presses such as Xerox, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, or HP Indigo.
- Understanding of colour management, paper stocks, and print file setup.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Please note this is a full-time on-site role, you must be commutable to Dagenham, and you must be happy with the shift pattern before applying, as this will not change.
