Digital Marketing Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Assistant to be responsible for Digital Marketing and Lead Generation at Paragon's Peterborough site.

This new opportunity will suit a highly motivated team player with a proven track record in digital marketing, to support the business in developing online brand awareness and supporting lead generation through digital engagement.

As the Digital Marketing Assistant, you will take full ownership of developing and communicating the group’s brand, both internally and client-facing, creating a library of content within existing brand guidelines. Content will be used to generate cross-media campaigns (Social Media, Email and Print) in order to generate a lead database to support the group sales effort.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create awareness of and develop the Paragon Print brand
  • Create and maintain a library of product related copy for use in marketing and client proposals.
  • Write and dispatch email marketing campaigns
  • Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
  • Design website banners and assist with web visuals
  • Produce creative content, including videos and blog posts
  • Run social media channels
  • Organise and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions as required
  • Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials
  • Keep up to date with current digital trends
  • Manage the contact database and assist with lead-generation activities
  • Conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience within a Digital Marketing / Brands position
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercially aware with business acumen
  • Copywriting and design skills
  • Highly Creative with a strong eye for detail
  • Analytical and strategic thinking
  • Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work
  • The ability to work well under pressure within tight deadlines
  • Ability to foster strong working relationships
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • IT, social media and numeracy skills

Salary: £31,000 - £35,000
