Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join Service Graphics, part of the Paragon Group, based at their Farringdon office in London.

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and converting new business opportunities to drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and support the continued expansion of the business. The focus will be on securing new clients across Paragon’s core service lines, with particular emphasis on digital print, large format printing, and secure document solutions.

Main responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities.
  • Research and target new markets, customers, and growth opportunities.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and social media engagement.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline aligned to a defined ‘Ideal Client’ profile.
  • Use solution-selling techniques to understand client needs and deliver tailored proposals.
  • Maximise revenue by cross-selling across the wider Paragon Group service offering.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospects, contacts, and opportunities within the CRM system.
  • Negotiate and secure key account contracts to safeguard revenue and support long-term growth.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across multiple departments and seniority levels.
  • Monitor performance against targets and provide monthly KPI reporting.
  • Stay informed on market trends, target sectors, and Paragon Group’s service portfolio.

Required experience & skills:

  • Previous sales or business development experience within the print, mail, or signage industry.
  • Proven track record of securing contracts and achieving sales targets.
  • Experience generating leads through proactive prospecting and cold outreach.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial awareness with experience working to budgets, targets, and KPIs.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple opportunities.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm
Office based in Farringdon, London, with potential flexibility to work from home one day per week and travel to client sites as required.
