Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join Service Graphics, part of the Paragon Group, in their London office.

Service Graphics is a leading provider of display graphics, print, design, mail, and software solutions. In this role, you’ll focus on identifying and converting new business opportunities to drive revenue, improve profitability, and support business growth – primarily within large format print (80%) and small format print and branded goods (20%).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve revenue and profitability targets through proactive business development.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities across markets, sectors, and clients.
  • Generate leads via cold calling, networking, and social media outreach.
  • Secure new contracts using solution-selling techniques and a deep understanding of client needs.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline aligned with Paragon’s ‘Ideal Client’ profile.
  • Maximise opportunities by cross-selling the wider Paragon Group’s portfolio of services.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospects, activities, and opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Negotiate and secure key account contracts to safeguard and grow revenue.
  • Build strong relationships with clients at all levels across multiple departments.
  • Monitor commercial performance, ensuring profitability through innovation and process improvement.
  • Report monthly KPIs against budget and internal metrics.
  • Contribute to internal team meetings and share market insights and ideas.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of target markets, clients, and Paragon’s service offerings.

Targets:

  • £50,000 per month target and paid 3% when the target is reached.
  • 3% on new business (separate to target for 6 months.)

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven sales or business development experience in the Print, Mail, or Signage industry
  • Strong track record of winning new business and meeting targets
  • Confident in prospecting and generating leads from cold contacts
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team
  • Experience in budgeting, KPI reporting, and performance tracking
  • Skilled negotiator with strong commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Resilient, proactive, and comfortable working under pressure to deadlines

This is a hybrid role, with four days in the Farringdon office and one day working from home per week, plus travel to client sites as required.
