An exciting opportunity for an Account Manager has become available to join Paragon’s Sheffield site.
As the Account Manager, you will be working within the high-performing client services team, being the primary point of contact for new and existing customers.
Reporting into the Senior Account Manager, the purpose of this role will be to provide excellent customer service, account development, project management, communication and coordination. Managing customer enquiries and projects from initial request through to completion and ensuring expectations are met and exceeded.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supporting the sales team, grow and develop clients and assisting in scheduled account reviews
- Ensure excellent customer service is always delivered and own the day-to-day customer relationship
- Be the primary point of contact for the customer and work alongside the Account Director and other key stakeholders where required
- Contribute to and attend customer review meetings
- Lead and/or assist customer projects working with all relevant internal and external teams
- Have an understanding of the wider group offering to identify opportunities to cross-sell new services and products
- Work on your own initiative, applying your knowledge and understanding of the customers’ ways of working
- Prioritise workload ensuring all requests are dealt with and completed on time whilst monitoring ongoing projects
- Understand and manage customer enquiries for online ordering platforms
- Attend face-to-face meetings as and when required
- Record, investigate and resolve complaints independently whilst knowing when escalation to management is required
Required skills:
- Commercially aware individual with the ability to create and sustain valuable relationships
- Someone who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring individual and team objectives and targets are achieved
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proactive and organised with a keen eye for detail
- Proven experience within a customer or client facing environment
- Can work across multiple IT systems and programmes simultaneously
- Can work under pressure without dropping service levels
- Maintain high levels of professionalism at all times
- Contribute to ideas for improvement and be accepting of change
