Account Manager

Our client a leading business communications company is currently recruiting for an Account Manager to join their growing team on a full-time permanent basis.

As the Account Manager, your role will be to ensure all customers receive the best possible customer experience whilst supporting and managing a busy team. You will act as a single point of contact for all customer enquiries, from initial enquiry through to project completion and be the point of escalation for team members and customer issue resolution.

Main Duties:

  • Work with the Senior Account Managers to support colleagues and delegate tasks across the team where relevant
  • Co-ordinate internal departments and external suppliers to deliver projects on time and to customers’ expectations.
  • Provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders on ongoing projects
  • Contribute to resource planning for any absence across the team and to support project work
  • Provide monthly reporting to Senior Account Manager / Account Director on individual and team KPIs
  • Work as part of the customer Account Management team supporting the Account Director on client meetings and projects when necessary
  • Work as part of the wider customer services team to ensure all customers receive the best possible customer experience
  • Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams
  • First point of contact for customers facing technical issues with online ordering platform

Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a customer-facing role
  • Previous sales experience
  • Previous experience working in the Print Industry (desirable)
  • 3 GCSEs (including Maths and English) at A-C grade or equivalent
  • Able to provide both 1-2-1 and group training and support
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Explorer and Office
