Our client, a global communications company, are looking for a budding Warehouse Administrator to join their team as an apprentice based at their site in Rotherham.
As an Apprentice Warehouse Administrator you will be responsible for supporting all warehouse sites by ensuring that system-based stock holding data is accurate and to provide a communication interface to the warehouses for other departments within the business.
Job Role:
As an Apprentice Warehouse Administrator, you will be responsible for:
• Be a point of contact within the warehouse for all stock related issues and requests.
• Investigate and report missing stock and allocation issues, and update stock systems accordingly.
• Oversee the goods returns process ensuring that adequate records are kept and liaise with Customer
Services to ensure retuned goods are dealt with in a timely manner.
• Assist with the goods inwards process by providing information on daily goods expected and report
actual receipts back to Customer Services
• Schedule and organise perpetual inventory stock checks ensuring adequate records are kept and
stock systems are accurately updated.
• Arrange stock destructions in conjunction with other members of the warehouse team and ensure
stock systems are accurately updated.
• Accurately update stock systems with version updates and inform customer of updates.
• Contribute to upholding warehouse standards of cleanliness and tidiness.
Skills/Experience:
To be successful as an Apprentice General Assistant, you will need to be able to demonstrate you have:
• Proven experience working as part of a team.
• You are able to use your initiative and look for solutions.
• Have excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm
his is a permanent contract working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. The role will initially be based at our Templeborough site in Rotherham, then in approximately November will be based at our new warehouse facility at Greenland Road, S9.
