Our client, a Global Omni-Channel Communications business is looking for a Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis.
As the Management Accountant, you will be part of a newly created centralised finance function providing support to divisional finance business partners in the production and management of financial transactions and activities.
This is a multi-site business that operates both in the UK and internationally to provide Digital Print Services, Workplace Solutions and Business Processing Outsourcing.
Your main objective is to bring a high degree of quality, control and insight to the financial close, budgeting and forecasting processes.
Main responsibilities:
- Support the accounting close process by managing balances via journals (managing accruals, deferrals, prepayments and IFRS adjustments, etc.).
- Review and reconcile key elements within the Profit & Loss e.g. Payroll.
- Support month end reporting requirements such as FTE KPIs, fixed assets, provision movements and analysis, recording balance sheet movements.
- Provide assurance of financial balances, by performing balance sheet account reconciliations. consistent with business policies & procedures, and providing quality supporting documentation where required.
- Support the IFRS16 Operating Lease Accounting process.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
Required skills/experience:
- We are seeking an Accountant with a minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar role and business environment.
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) or part-qualified, actively studying in the final exam stages.
- Experience working with stakeholders of differing levels of seniority and non-financial stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills to enable manipulation of multiple data sources to deliver detailed analytics is essential.
- Prior experience of Business Central is advantageous.

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000
